Our Riding Horses
PACO - 1992 Bay Gelding
The KING and RULER of Moore Quarter Horses.
Cody as a yearling
"Pedro" is my "go-to" guy. There isn't a bovine out there that he can't bring in. He has
earned his keep in more ways than one. He has won money in heading and ranch
horse competition as well as ribbons in ranch horse western pleasure. He is a "bust
through the brush, can't hurt him with a double-bit axe" kind of horse. Does his job, and
does it well. Just expects to be left alone afterwards. No fuss kind of horse. Never
hesitates when you ask something of him. Priceless. **NOTE: We have some
broodmares that are daughters of his and they are some awesome girls.
"LeRoy" is a big BABY. He is well started and is
easy to get along with. He loves everyone and
isn't picky about who pets him. One person is just
as good as another. He shows no favoritism. He
gets along with everyone, including the mini
donks. He is 15H and still growing and stout. He
is started really well and just needs some saddle
time to turn into a fine ranch horse.
This little bay horse is my pride and joy. I can't say enough about him.
Anyone that knows me, knows my Paco. He has won countless money,
numerous ribbons, saddles, and the love of people wherever he goes. He
has been on many posters all over the U.S. and was on the Mississippi
Burn Centers for Children advertisement with the Burn Center's poster
child. He loves to rope, but due to arthritis has been retired. He still gets to
get rode every now and then to keep him happy. He has been my owner
for 15 years. He will never leave this place. He keeps my WHOLE herd in
line. No one crossed him. He is not mean, they just respect him. He
knows he is "mama's boy" and he likes that everyone else knows that too.
Whoever has had that one special horse that could never be
replaced knows exactly what I am talking about. He always
has a nicker when he sees me. I have always stood behind
my husband and his military career, but he knows that I will
never go anywhere that Paco cannot go. He is just a special
that he is with me and I thank the Lord that he let me be a
part of this wonderful horse's life.
"Cody" was bought as a stallion prospect, but has not filled out like he should.
He is a bit pigeon-toed and is not stallion material. He is gentle, nosy, and fun to
be around. I don't think he has a mean bone in his body. He has a great
personality. We lovingly call him "Princess Cody" due to him flaunting his pretty
looks. You never have to catch him, he catches you.
Cody has been started and is doing fantabulous!! I couldn't have asked for a
nicer colt to start. He has accepted saddle and rider like he has done it for years.
Cody has now been given to our youngest son and they are doing great together.

Clint was previously used as one of our
stallions and produced us many nice
dun-factored roans. I feel he can serve us
better as a riding gelding, so here he is.
